vote for Volunteer of the Year by 3/22

March 15, 2016 by stabbert

Hey everyone. Please send your votes directly to Sara Elzey at skijorex2@hotmail.com.  I know it is so hard to choose… but please vote for ONE person. The deadline for me to receive your vote is March 22nd. The winner will be announced at our final race & membership potluck, Sunday, March 27.

The nominations were as follows:

Kathleen Boyle:
She has helped coordinate and do registration to many if not all of the races this year, and she is on the board and rarely races herself. She is very positive and welcoming for the new comers and fun to work with! She has done sooo much for the club this season. I think she has volunteered for every event, been to every board meeting, faithfully kept meeting notes, and agreed to take over UAF for next season. We need more ASPA members like her!

Lisa Stuby:  Because she does a darn fine job on the newsletter – and rarely gets any contributions from anyone – yet she continues to put out really nice and fun stories….
Pauline Tise: She is always there to help out with everything. She is always  calm and competent!
Chris Burrow: for helping out with timing & being race director so many times this year.
Sara Tabbert: for being race director for many of our races this year, leading trail tours & being on the board.
Sunnifa Deehr: for being race director for several races, being on the board, keep all of the race supplies organized.
