The Alaska Skijoring & Pulk Association joined the Alaska Dog Mushers Association (ADMA) in North Pole for a great day of racing on Sunday. Eight skijorers and sixteen dogs came out to race 5.7 miles on a trail put in just for the race. The temperature (+15) and partial sun made for perfect racing conditions. Jeff Wells with his team of Kilarney, Galena & Cora had the fastest time of the day, 19:32.9. Jesse Warwick with Zip and Joba had the next fastest time; 19:47.8. Bruce Miller and Roy had the fastest time in the one dog class, finishing in 22:18.4. Afterwards racers swapped stories and participated in a random drawing for prizes.
