North Star Golf Club Trails Saturday, Dec 8
1, 3 and 4 miles
1, 2 , or 3 dogs
Pre-registration and volunteers contact janna@alaska.net (479-5585) before 6 pm on Friday, Dec 7
Race day registration 11 am at North Star Golf Club
Bib pick up 11:30am, racing at noon
$5 members or $10 non-members in advance; $5 extra for all on race day

Come explore another portion of the Rosie Creek trails. You need a reliable snowplow skill and should be able to negotiate fairly sharp corners at moderate speeds, both on narrow trails. Tour flatlands on snowmachine-groomed trails suitable for one- or two-dog teams and narrow skate skiing. One very narrow section requires double-poling or classic ski gear. The weather forecast is not favorable for a trail tour this Sunday. Our minimum is -10 and it’s looking like -17 at best. So stay home, curl up with War and Peace, and gives your dogs extra tummy rubs. We’ll see what the following weekend brings.
