Please spread the word that the Alaska Skijoring & Pulk Association will hold the annual Beginners’ Clinic Saturday, November 14 at Alaska Feed on College Road.
Pr-registration is required, please stop by Alaska Feed to do so. The cost is $30/person and includes a membership to ASPA.
The Clinic will have 2 sessions, a classroom session from 10am – 1pm and a half-hour “on-snow” session at Creamer’s Field between 2 and 4 pm, depending on weather and trail conditions.
The classroom session is for people only! It will be held in the annex next to the Alaska Feed store. It will cover equipment, training tips & trail etiquette. Students will sign-up for a half-hour “on-snow” session during the morning.
The “on-snow” session is for people and dogs. Time slots will run in half-hour segments starting at 2pm and ending at 4pm. Experienced skijorers & dogs will be on-hand to give tips and provide support for begin! ner skiers and dogs.
