Tomorrow’s Trail Tour – CANCELLED!

January 25, 2014 by Mara Bacsujlaky

Having just done a trial ski jor on Goldstream valley trails – I have decided that leading a trail tour tomorrow would not be fun, and could possibly be even a little hairy/dangerous.  Trails are rock hard, icy, and difficult to control dogs on.  Therefore, tomorrow’s tour is cancelled.  We will do the Nordale trail in late February.

Be advised, if you do venture out to ski jor from the Ballaine pull-out, that the trail that parallels Ballaine is full of gravel thrown off by the DOT trucks – I just destroyed my good skate skis not realizing I was being pulled through gravel.
Here’s hoping for some snow soon to cover up the ice rink.
