The Alaska Skijoring & Pulk Association’s annual Beginners’ Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th. The morning classroom sesssion (10am-1pm) will be held at Alaska Feed on College Road. This session is for humans only! It will cover equipment, training tips & trail etiquette. The afternoon “on-snow” session will be held at Creamer’s Field (weather & snow conditions permitting). Students will sign up to attend half hour session between 2pm & 4pm. This session is for humans & dogs to try it out. There will be experienced dogs & skijorers on hand to help. The cost is $30 per person & includes an annual membership to ASPA. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Sign-up at Alaska Feed. Volunteers are needed to help with the on-snow session. If you have a well-trained dog and can play “rabbit” or if you have able hands & feet to help beginners hook up and get started please contact Sara at skijorex2@hotmail.com.
