Trail Tour Sunday, January 2

December 28, 2010 by stabbert

This weekend’s trail tour will meet on Waterford Road (right hand turn off of Goldstream, about 3.5 miles from the Steese.) The trail begins just before Waterford turns into Molly Road. Park on Molly Road in the pullout around the corner from the trailhead. This trail has some fairly steep sections – it’s a good trail for one dog, and beginners might want to ski it without a dog first.  Connections to the pipeline and other trails make this route as long or as short a tour as participants want. There is some debris in the snow from the rainstorm, so leave your best skis at home. We will meet this week at 1 pm. If you have questions, please call Sara Tabbert at 479 0456. If the temperature at 458-3745 x1113 is colder than -10 degrees as of 9:30 am on Sunday, the event will be canceled.
